Managing Operational Panels
The ZEUS astroprocessor provides a flexible workspace management system. The main information panels can be quickly hidden or shown, freeing up space for the chart.
Interface control hotkeys:
1— Show/hide the Left Panel;2— Show/hide the Dial Control Panel;3— Show/hide the Right Panel;F2— “Chart only” mode (maximally hides all panels);F3— Show/hide the Main top Menu of the program;F4— Show/hide the Status Bar (at the very bottom of the window).
Panel Settings
The “Panel Settings” dialog window allows the user to independently determine which control elements and widgets will be displayed in the program interface. The window is divided into three tabs, designated by corresponding icons.
Tab 1: Right Panel (Control Panel)
This tab is responsible for the content of the program’s Right Panel.
All elements available in the list are divided into two types:
- Widgets (marked with the word “widget” in parentheses) — these are functional control elements that allow you to change chart settings directly from the main window (for example, the current dial widget, aspectation direction, aspect filter).
- Quick access buttons (without a mark) — these are operational links for quickly calling up the corresponding catalogs and settings dialog windows (for example, the Lots or Extra Objects catalog).
Note: If you want to reset the Right Panel settings to their initial state, press the button with the circular arrow (“Default”) in the lower right corner of this tab.
Tab 2: Toolbar
This panel can only be managed if it is active.
Links in the form of icons to various elements of the main menu are duplicated on this panel. Thus, the user can set the most relevant and frequently used menu items for themselves to quickly access the necessary tools and tables. At the same time, the main menu can be hidden with the hotkey F3 or from the menu Settings -> Global Settings -> General.
Tab 3: Status Bar
The status bar (the bottom panel of the program window) serves a dual function. First, you decide what information to display on it (coordinates, selected zodiac, etc.). Second, the headings of these items on the status bar itself are clickable and serve as operational links for navigating to the corresponding settings windows.
