Chronocrators by Terms

What is this technique?
Chronocrators by Terms is a method of calculating planetary periods in which the change of rulers is determined by the passage of the directed Ascendant through the terms of the natal chart. This technique is also known as Nutritions and Egyptian Directions.
The method is based on the movement of the Ascendant in primary directions. When the directed Ascendant moves from one term to another, a new period begins, and its ruler becomes the planet — the lord of the corresponding term. The planetary ruler of such a period is called the Divisor.
How the periods are interpreted
Each Nutrition period describes a time span during which one of the planets gains special authority over the unfolding of events. The character of the period is determined by the nature of the Divisor, its position in the natal chart, its dignities, weaknesses, aspects, and thematic connection with the houses under consideration.
Thus, the technique allows one to trace the succession of leading planetary influences over time and to identify stages in which certain life themes become most active. The method is especially useful for long-term analysis and for studying the sequence of life periods.
Implementation in the Zeus program
In the ZEUS program, this table contains not only the calculation of the Nutritions themselves, but also additional astrological indications related to the movement of the directed Ascendant. In addition to the change of terms and Divisors, the table calculates zodiacal major aspects of the directed Ascendant to the planets of the septener.
For ease of analysis, the rows directly related to Nutritions are highlighted with a background color. This allows one to visually separate the change of main planetary periods from the aspect contacts of the directed Ascendant and to find key time nodes more quickly.
