Sequence of Events

This calculation module is designed for the chronological search and listing of astrological events, both in the past and in the future. This tool is indispensable for building detailed forecasts, rectification, and is especially useful when analyzing horary charts. In the results table, rows with past events are visually distinguished by background color from upcoming ones, allowing you to instantly orient yourself in time.
What can be calculated
The module offers a search across a wide range of dynamic factors. You can selectively enable or disable the required parameters via the context menu:
- Aspects of dynamic objects among themselves and to the radix
- Aspects to antiscia
- Aspects to Lots
- Ingresses of planets into zodiac signs
- Transitions of planets into other houses (house changes)
- Change of motion phases (stations retrograde and direct)
- Ecliptic crossings (planetary nodes)
- Equator crossings (declinations)
Time Range Configuration
The interval for the event search can be set in two ways:
- Manually: Specify a specific number of days before and after the date of the current dial.
- By sign placement: Limit the search to the time the objects remain in their current zodiac signs (in this mode, the calculation is performed only for septener planets).
Latitude Aspect Analysis (Parallels)
For longitudinal aspects, the program provides a unique feature to simultaneously account for latitudes — parallels and contra-parallels. This provides a more three-dimensional picture of planetary interaction. When the “Aspects by latitude” option is enabled, the program checks every found longitudinal aspect. If this aspect is additionally supported by a parallel or contra-parallel by latitude, a corresponding icon and the exact latitude values of both objects will appear in the event row. ZEUS uses strict traditional rules to account for these connections:
- Parallel:
- The latitudes of both objects are in the same ecliptic hemisphere (both North or both South).
- There is no other septener planet between these objects by latitude (the condition of no “obstruction”).
- Contra-parallel:
- The latitudes of the objects are in different ecliptic hemispheres (one North, the other South).
- There is no septener planet between their latitude values. Additional setting: If you enable the “Consider applying by latitude” option, a parallel or contra-parallel will only be counted (and displayed) if the coordinates of the objects are physically moving closer together (applying) dynamically.
