Aspects Projection

This control element allows you to switch the plane in which the program calculates and draws aspects between planets on the graphical chart. This is an advanced tool necessary for analyzing multidimensional connections in a horoscope.

Projection options

The dropdown list allows you to select the plane along which angular distances will be measured:

• Current (default): Aspects are calculated in the same plane in which the main chart is currently built.
• Ecliptic: Classical aspects by zodiacal longitude (even if the chart itself has been converted to another projection).
• Equator: Aspects are measured by right ascension on the celestial equator.
• Horizon: Aspects are measured along the true horizon (by azimuth).
• Prime Vertical: Aspects are measured along the plane of the Prime Vertical (perpendicular to the horizon through the east and west points).
• Meridian: Aspects are measured along the plane of the celestial meridian.
• Mundane position: Aspects are calculated based on the mundane positions of planets (proportionally to their position in the house grid).
• Declination: Measurement of angular distances (parallels and contra-parallels) by the equatorial declination of planets (north or south of the equator).

Tool location: As shown in the screenshot (red arrow), for quick access this setting can be placed on the permanently visible right panel of the main program window.
