Transits

This calculation block allows you to build lists of exact transit aspects over a selected period of time. The program calculates both the interaction of transiting planets with natal chart objects (Tr - Natal) and aspects between transiting objects themselves (Tr - Tr).

For ease of visual perception, rows with “Transit to Transit” aspects are highlighted in the table with a colored background.

Setting the Time Range

In the right part of the panel (the “Time range” block) you can set the period for calculation:

• When the window is opened, the start date of the range (the from field) is automatically set equal to the date of the current background dial (e.g., the current day).
• The end of the range (the to field) is automatically calculated based on the values set in the Period block (Years and Days).

Selecting Objects and Aspects

The program offers flexible options for setting up the calculation:

• Objects: The Objects button opens a window where you can select in detail exactly which transiting planets will participate in the calculation and to which natal objects they will form aspects (based on your current object set).
• Aspects: The Aspects link allows you to open the aspect set editor. You can also quickly switch between pre-saved sets (e.g., Traditional).

Reading the Results Table

After pressing the Calculate button, the program produces a chronological list of events. The table displays:

1. The transiting object and its exact position (degree, minute, sign).
2. Aspect symbol.
3. Type of applying aspect (+ or -): This column shows the left-side or right-side nature of the aspect. Since the definitions of “left/right” can be reversed in different astrological schools, the program uses the neutral mathematical symbols + and -, based on the direction of zodiacal motion.
4. Natal (or second transiting) object with its position.
5. Exact date and time of the exactitude (exact aspect) formation.
6. Age: The native’s age at the moment of this transit event (accurate to tenths of a year).

Additional Functions (Context Menu)

Right-clicking on any row in the table brings up the context menu, which allows you to:

• Apply to dial: Instantly rebuild the chart by applying the date of the selected transit event to the selected program dial.
• Export: Copy the table data to the clipboard or save it in various formats (PDF, PNG, TXT) for sending to a client or printing.
