What is this technique?

Chronocrators by Profections is a forecasting method in which period rulers are determined by the position of the profectional Ascendant. The technique is based on the sequential advancement of the Ascendant through the zodiac signs, where each new sign activates its planetary ruler.

The profectional Ascendant shows which sign and which planet temporarily become dominant during a given period. The planet ruling the sign of the profectional Ascendant acts as the main chronocrator of the period and points to the primary themes, tasks, and focuses of that time.

How periods are interpreted

The profection method is based on a cyclical principle: the Ascendant sequentially moves from one sign to the next, and the full cycle repeats every 12 years. Therefore, the same profectional positions return at equal intervals, but each time they manifest at a new stage of life.
