Left Panel

Event Window

Contains detailed information about the selected event in the Event Pool.

Event Pool

This is a temporary database that is always close at hand. It contains newly created events or those loaded from the database, as well as events generated during chart work. For example, when building a solar return with the Auto-save Ref. Events option active, the reference date — i.e., the solar return data itself — will be added to the Event Pool. Similarly, when a new event is created, it will also be added to the Event Pool, provided the Auto-save Events option is active.

Events that have already been saved to the main database will be highlighted in an alternative color, allowing you to quickly assess which events have been saved to the database and which have not. Otherwise, they can be forcibly saved. But even if you forgot to do so, the program will save all temporary events to a special file upon closing, and the next time you launch the program you will see them in this same window.

This panel also has a context menu, through which you can perform various manipulations with events, build special charts, sort them, etc. (see the context menu screenshot)

Event Pool context menu

As can be seen from the context menu, you can implement chart preview directly from the Event Pool. You can navigate through events using the up and down arrow keys. Chart preview from the Event Pool

Automatic scrolling works when dragging events with the mouse inside the Event Pool.

Please note that from the context menu you can calculate a solar arc chart, a Davison relationship chart, or a composite chart for the selected events. Before selecting the desired calculation type, choose at least 2 events (radixes). Events are selected using standard operating system controls. The calculated events will be added to the end of the event list.

You can create any number of pools (pages), name them, rename them, delete them, and sort them. Upon exiting the program, the page order of the pool and the index of the current page are saved. Options are located in the context menu of the Event Pool header.

The width of the left panel can be changed by hovering the mouse cursor over the border between it and the scene (the cursor will change), clicking the left mouse button, and dragging it in the desired direction. The panel width is saved in the configuration.

Session Pool

This window shows all sessions saved in the selected folder. The current sessions folder can be selected from the context menu or by clicking on the name of the current folder. Directly from here you can perform various actions with sessions: save, rename, delete. Sessions are loaded by double-clicking. The list can be sorted by name or by creation time. If the window is hidden, hover the mouse cursor over the lower border, and when the cursor changes, drag this border upward.

The relative sizes of these windows can be adjusted with the mouse by clicking on the borders between them and dragging in the desired direction. If a configuration is then saved, these sizes will be preserved.
