Installation

Moving from the Intel build to the Apple Silicon build? Your charts, sessions and settings are stored inside the old ZEUS app. Before installing, rename the old app in the Applications folder (for example to "Zeus 2.15") so both versions sit side by side and nothing is lost. Details →
Installing on Windows
  1. Download ZeusInstaller-2.15.exe using the button above.
  2. Run the file and follow the installer steps.
  3. If you change the install path, make sure it contains only Latin characters.
  4. Launch ZEUS and register — the license is tied to your account.

What to do after installation — first launch →

Windows may show a SmartScreen warning — click More info → Run anyway. This is normal for apps without an expensive publisher certificate.

Installing on macOS · Apple Silicon (M1 or later)

The Apple Silicon version is a separate native build: Zeus-2.16-arm64.dmg. It is installed fresh, not as an update on top of the Intel build. Requires macOS 13 Ventura or later.

If an older ZEUS is already installed. Your charts, sessions and settings are stored inside the old ZEUS app. If the new app replaces it, that data is lost. So before installing, rename the old app in the Applications folder (for example to "Zeus 2.15") — both versions will then sit side by side and your data stays where it is. There is no automatic data transfer between the two versions; charts are moved by hand.

Install

  1. Download Zeus-2.16-arm64.dmg using the button above and open it.
  2. Drag Zeus onto the "Applications" icon in that window.
  3. Launch ZEUS from the Applications folder, not from the disk image window.

First launch

The app is not notarized by Apple yet, so on first launch macOS will say it cannot verify the developer. This is needed only once:

  1. Open ZEUS with a double click. A warning appears — click "Done".
  2. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll down: there is a line about ZEUS and an "Open Anyway" button. Click it and confirm with your password.

From then on ZEUS opens normally.

Installing on macOS · Intel
  1. Download ZeusInstaller-2.15.dmg (the build for Intel Macs).
  2. Open the .dmg and drag Zeus.app to the Applications folder.
  3. On first launch, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and allow ZEUS to run.

If it still won't open — Terminal method:

Applications → Utilities → Terminal, run each command in order:

sudo spctl --master-disable
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Zeus.app
sudo chmod -R 755 /Applications/Zeus.app
Press Return after each command. When typing your password, no characters will appear — that's normal.
