Quick settings
- House system
- Basic planetary qualities only — only the basic qualities of the planets will be used in the calculations (as proposed, for example, by George van Zanten, mentioned by Oscar Hofman in his book “Traditional Medical Astrology”). Without the checkbox — the phases of the planets and their signs are also taken into account;
- Lord of the Geniture by Ibn Ezra — by default, the Lord of the Geniture is taken as the planet with the greatest number of essential and accidental points. If there are several such planets that have scored the maximum, the one closer to the MC is taken. If this option is activated, the Lord of the Geniture is calculated by the 5 hylegical places (the Ibn Ezra variant);
- Orb — orb for aspects;
- Relation to house I — settings for determining a planet’s membership in the 1st house. If the checkbox is not ticked, a planet’s membership in the 1st house is determined formally;
- Relation in I from Asc — the distances in degrees from the Ascendant within which a planet located in the corresponding houses is considered to belong to the 1st house;
The last 3 parameters affect the calculation of the Lord of the Geniture.
