Global Settings


Unlike most other program parameters, which are tied to specific configurations, Global Settings always apply, regardless of which configuration you are currently using. They are accessed through the main menu: Settings ➔ Global Settings.

The window is organized as tabs for convenient navigation through parameter groups.

”General” Tab

Global Settings

This is where the basic interface and data display settings are collected:

”Fonts” Tab

Global Settings: fonts

Allows you to customize the visual styling of text and symbols:

”Paths” Tab

Global Settings: paths

System directories are specified here; moreover, they can be defined in cloud services for access from different devices on which the astroprocessor is installed:

”Location” Tab

Global Settings: location

Allows you to set default geographic coordinates. This location will be automatically substituted when creating a new chart, if no other location is specified.

”Texts” Tab

Global Settings: texts

This tab is designed for managing user interpretation files. You can create or edit your own texts in any text editor. To do so, the following rules must be followed:

Precise adjustment of astronomical parameters for calculating sunrise and sunset times:

”Scene Context Menu” Tab

Global Settings: context menu

Allows you to flexibly configure the composition of the context menu that appears when right-clicking on an empty space on the chart. You can add or remove frequently used commands and tools from it to optimize your workflow.
