Asteroid Conjunctions

This module calculates conjunctions between objects and asteroids.

If the All asteroids option is activated, the calculation will only include asteroids whose ephemerides are loaded in the program’s ephemerides folder. If the required asteroids are missing from this folder, you can download them from astro.com or from the Asteroids Catalog.

Alternatively, you can specify a specific set of asteroids.

You can create custom asteroid sets in the Asteroids Catalog.

Conjunction Modes

• Ecliptic - coordinates are compared by ecliptic longitude
• Equatorial - coordinates are compared by right ascension
• Mundane - coordinates are compared by mundane position

You can set the conjunction orb in the Orb field.

Upon completing the calculation, the number of asteroids involved is displayed. The calculation table can be exported in TXT format.
