House Energy Links

House Energy Links

About the method

This calculation block is based on the “Astrological Algorithm” system by V.V. Tarasov. The table allows you to analyze how the activity of some horoscope houses (arranged in the vertical column) influences other houses (arranged in the horizontal row).

”Own” and “Alien” Houses

For a correct analysis of energy links, it is important to determine the initial direction of a house’s activity. This is displayed in the table by color:

Note: You can configure the significators used directly in this block.

Any energy link between two houses is a channel that allows the resources of one house to be transformed and introduced into the affairs of another.

The cells at the intersection of houses show two numbers (as a fraction). These numbers indicate the distance between the cusps of the interacting houses: one number is measured clockwise, the other counterclockwise. Each interaction is divided into Cause and Effect:

How to determine Cause and Effect

The position of a number in the fraction (in the numerator or denominator) is not rigidly fixed as Cause or Effect. This is determined by the position of the ruler of the house whose influence we are examining (the house from the horizontal row).

Calculation rule: If the ruler of the horizontal house is located on the zodiacal arc (counted in the direction of the signs) strictly between the cusp of the vertical house and the cusp of the horizontal house — then the value of this arc (the energy link) becomes the Cause of the relationship. Accordingly, the second number in the cell will always be their Effect.

The settings for rulers, as well as significators, can be changed in this block’s panel. You can also hide or show the settings panel and change the colors of “own”/“alien” houses via the context menu (accessed by right-clicking on the table).

More details about the method itself and the nuances of interpretation can be found in V.V. Tarasov’s books and his publications on our forum.
