ZEUS Online Is Back — Rebuilt From Scratch

The free browser version of ZEUS returns: a rotating Uranian dial with midpoint pictures, a classic chart with transits, progressions and directions, and astrocartography — now in English and working the same on a phone and a desktop.

The online version of ZEUS is back. We took the old browser tools down on purpose — it was easier to write a new version than to keep the old code alive — and this one is built from the ground up: a single interface that works the same on a desktop and on a phone.

It opens on the Uranian dial: a rotating 360°/90°/45° disc with a pointer you drag with the mouse or your finger, orb sectors and symmetry lines along the axis, and the planetary pictures listed as you turn it. The “Axis by formula” block places the axis at a sum of the form a + b − c and can stay locked to it. The eight Hamburg bodies — Cupido, Hades, Zeus, Kronos, Apollon, Admetos, Vulkanus, Poseidon — are calculated alongside the planets.

If you prefer a traditional wheel, the configuration menu switches to Modern: houses, aspects and position tables, with up to three charts at once — natal, transits, progressions, directions and solar arc directions. The third configuration is Geomap: planetary lines on MC, IC, Ascendant and Descendant over a zoomable world map, with four map bases to choose from.

What is inside

  • Three configurations: classic mode, the Uranian dial and astrocartography
  • Up to three charts at once: natal, transits, progressions, directions, solar arc
  • Calculations on Swiss Ephemeris — the same algorithms as the desktop ZEUS
  • An atlas of 36,000 cities; the time zone is filled in from the date of birth, historical changes included
  • Editable aspects and orbs
  • Placidus, Koch, Regiomontanus; mean and true Nodes; Part of Fortune; Eris, Sappho, Sedna
  • Event pool: saved charts stay in your browser
  • A link to the chart, image to the clipboard or PNG — handy for forums and messaging
  • Time scrolling with animation
  • Light and dark themes

The online version is free and needs no signup: astro-zeus.com/zeus-online/

We will keep developing it alongside the desktop program. The full working toolkit — four circles, every kind of progression and direction, aspect lines and parans on the geomap, interpretations — remains in ZEUS for Windows and macOS.
